Language is a bridge — we help you cross it.
DeutschKompass is a small studio founded by educators who believe that learning a language means understanding the culture behind it. We work in patient cohorts of no more than six students, with original texts and real conversations.
Most language courses hand you a textbook and hope for the best. I start with the student: why do you need German? What scares you about the exam? Which visa form keeps you awake at night? Then we build a path that fits your life, not a syllabus that fits a classroom.
After studying child psychology and education at Sungkyunkwan University, an exchange semester at the University of Bern, and years of guiding students through language learning — from programming classrooms in Seoul to customer success calls in Europe — I founded DeutschKompass to keep instruction small, human and honest.
